Attorney David Romanow
Attorneys routinely boast that they are “aggressive, tenacious,” or use some other overplayed adjective to describe their legal abilities. I am not going to do that. I don’t need to puff out my chest and proclaim that I am a fierce adversary.
I would rather stand by my record as a trial lawyer, the reputation that I have built with past clients, lawyers and judges and a simple promise, to work as hard as I can for my clients. I will ensure that every member of Romanow Law Group is dedicated and gives sustained A-level effort to achieve the best possible outcome for your case. To quote Babe Ruth, “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”
Experience That Matters
I have always found it odd that many lawyers claim to be “experienced” simply based on how long ago they graduated law school. Some lawyers even take this one step further touting “combined experience” by adding together all the time elapsed since graduation of every attorney at the firm. Experience should not be measured by the number of years that have passed since passing the bar exam and number of grey hairs. Experience should be measured by what an attorney has accomplished since graduation, not when he or she graduated.
To be a truly effective lawyer, you need real world experience. Law school teaches students nothing about practicing law; you must go out and do it. Just like you can’t be a great football player by watching instructing videos or reading about playing the sport, you can’t be a great personal injury lawyer without playing the game.
Prior to starting my own law firm, I served for years as trial counsel for the catastrophic injury division of a large and prestigious personal injury law firm. I began forging my reputation as a top trial lawyer within three months of passing the bar exam. I have spent my entire career representing people injured by the negligence of others. During that time, I have been called on as trial counsel for some of the most catastrophic injury case imaginable. I have represented people suffering from paralysis, loss of limbs, brain injuries, and other life-altering injuries.

Proud Family Man, Business Owner, Trial Lawyer
I learned the value of hard work from my family, no matter what the job was. My great-grandfather Samuel Romanow sold apples on the side of the road when he first came to America, but he always made sure that his family was taken care of and that he was there for them.
Family has always been very important to me. I am fortunate enough to be married to the love of my life, Mary-Ellen, and have three beautiful daughters. They inspire me every day to be a better person and a better lawyer. I work harder because of them.
My family is one of the reasons why I am so passionate about what I do for a living. Whenever a client comes to me who has been in a horrific accident, I can’t help but think for a split-second of a family member suffering the same loss. Then I think about the insurance adjuster who is inevitably going to be assigned to the case and “apply the formula” to determine what the value of my client’s injuries are. It makes me mad. I love doing what I do because I believe that by holding those accountable for harms that they have caused I can make the world a safer place.
